Jared graduated from BYU! He has been very ready to be done with his undergrad for some time now and get started in med school. He finally finished and reached his goal of graduating with a 3.8. He worked so hard these last few years studying, learning to learn, test taking etc. I am super proud of him. He will do amazing things as a doctor!
With graduation came the end of Jared's intramural soccer career. He has played on SO many teams, 3v3, 7v7, 11v11, mens, coed etc. He got many championship shirts as well.
Some of the OHS soccer boys came to watch his last championship because he and Todd were their coach.
He also won the championship in a Provo City tournament. They played a team made up of refugees. They were pretty cool.
We are looking forward to moving to Kansas City this July. It will be a big change and we are very excited. Jared is still on the wait list at the U. We have no idea how likely it is he will get called so we have all of our plans set for Kansas City. We have a wonderful townhouse that we just got approved for. I am excited to grow our little family and be away for a while.
Reese turned one!!! We had a little birthday party for her even though she had no clue anyone was there for her. We invited cousins to meet at the duck pond and play with the ducks. I also brought bubbles, a frisbee, and of course cake! I let Reese devour her own cake and she definitely loved it. The cleanup was a bit of a nightmare but it was worth it.
We spent two days living at Garrett and Andrea's apartment babysitting their 4 kids. They went on a cruise as a graduation trip. It was a little crazy jumping from 1 kid to 5 but it was fun. We took them to the zoo, played at the park, watched lots of ninja turtles, and had some fun.
Poor little Cooper had a nice fall and smacked his head on the corner of the wall. I'm SO glad the skin didn't break and require stitches. Overall things went well.
For Memorial Day weekend we went to Lake Powell with my family. It was a very different Powell trip than usual. We went to Page AZ rather than bullfrog, stayed in a house rather than the houseboat, and were there for just a quick weekend trip. We did this trip because Jared and I, and the Lewis' will be moving before the other Powell trips. My parents are amazing and always plan fun things for us to do. We went to the ward in Page and my dad forgot his church clothes at home, Cam forgot his church shirt, and Jbill forgot his church shoes. So they all looked a little ridiculous.
We also went to horseshoe bend which was beautiful.
Of course, the tige broke down after one day but we still had a blast. Good thing the red boat always pulls through for us. Reese did surprisingly well despite the bulky life jacket and heat.
I continue to love being momma to little Reese. I also love seeing Jared be a dad. Reese brightens our lives.

I love the picture of the 3 goofballs at church. haha! Looks like Powell was a blast. We miss you guys already! Come back home!!!!
