Flying with two kids was a new experience for us. Reese and Jade both still fly free so we decided to take advantage of that, but flying with little children is a lot of work. We brought everything we could think of to keep Reese entertained. Snacks, books, toys, ipad... you name it. Our flight there was late at night and we had a layover in Denver. We didn't land in Utah until midnight which would be 1 AM in Missouri. WAY past Reese's bedtime. I was really hoping she would sleep the majority of the time. That didn't happen at all. She hardly slept at all, maybe 30 minutes on our second flight. With that being said, she hardly cried or caused a fuss at all either. The only time she cried was when she got woken up after she fell asleep. She was a little hysterical for a minute but once Jared calmed her down she listened to some songs on the ipad. The flight back home was a breeze. We had a direct flight in the morning. Piece of cake! Reese was funny and wouldn't stop staring at the Asian lady behind her.
When we got to Utah we surprised Jared's family. Bill and Heather knew we we were coming, but no one else did! It worked out perfect because Kristen had a noteworthy concert the night after we flew in. So we layed low the first day. It was fun seeing all of the different reactions to us being there. The best was Kristen. She noticed us during the first song! I didn't know if she would even be able to see us but luckily our seats were super close. She kept eyeing us and pointed to us at one point during her song. It was so fun, and we could tell it meant a lot to her.
While there we were able to bless Jade. I'm so glad so many members of our family were able to be there. It's amazing to see how much love and support Jared and I have, as well as our sweet girls. Jared of course gave a beautiful blessing. I can't wait to see this girl grow into a woman and be a light in the world.
Between the Bodine and Robins family, lots of fun was had. We were able to go to the Hogle Zoo with Garrett, Andrea, and their kids. They have a pass which gets us in for free! Reese was mesmerized by all of the animals. She could have stayed there all day long.
She also really loved playing with Anders and jumping on the tramp. They love Grammy and Grandpa's tramp. We took them to a trampoline place in Provo. They are cute little cousins.
Grammy Tammy made a fun St. Patricks day dinner and had some accessories for the kids since we didn't do a good enough job dressing them up.
Contrary to Bane, Reese was a little weary of Devin. He wouldn't leave her alone and she was not sure what to think of him.

One of the main things Jared wanted to do was go to the Orem High soccer games. He coached those boys last year and was so excited to see all of them. His brothers came and watched one of the games as well.
I met up with a group of my friends. Luckily, Kendy and Austin were also in town, as well as Emily. Good timing! Our group is quickly growing and more babies are expected in the next few months! These girls have been great friends and examples to me.
Jade has become a very smiley little baby. She steals hearts with her little grin. She has overall been a very easy baby and doesn't put up much of a fuss with all we do during the day. Here are a few more pictures of our family members meeting Jade for the first time.
