Holiday Fun

Thanksgiving this year we ended up going to Reno to visit Brandon and Brittany's family.  Brandon was on call so they couldn't go anywhere so we all went to them.  It was nice to see their house, school, church etc.  We went to Lake Tahoe (it was freezing!)

Jared convinced some of the Egbert kids to walk through the ice cold water out to a big rock.

I happily stayed back to take pictures. 

 We also explored Virginia City.  It was fun seeing this old mining town.

Reese and Archie were buddies in the stroller as we explored.

It was a nice relaxing weekend.

After Thanksgiving we had a lot of Christmas activities.  I always love getting into the Christmas spirit.  We had our ward Christmas pajama breakfast.  Bishop was decked out in the sweetest Christmas suit and I'm pretty sure Jared wants one now.  It was pretty ugly!

At the party Reese met Santa for the first time.  She's still too young to care about him or be scared of him.  Next year I'm sure the picture will be very different.

We had our annual Christmas part with Bobs and Grandma Judy.  We all look forward to a visit from Santa at that party.

A lot of family come into town for Christmas on both mine and Jared's side of the family.  It was a blast hanging out with cousins.  Hayden loves baby Reese and played with her a lot.

With the Robins crew we went up to the Lewis Sundance cabin.  We got to go sledding and play in all the snow up there.

Now the holiday season is over but I hope we can remember the Spirit of Christmas and try to be more like Christ all year.
